Wordpress Developer

Responsibilities:

As a Wordpress developer, you will be developing responsive custom websites for a wide range of clients. You will be expected to take ownership of your work and see it through to the end while working with a team to ensure the best quality possible.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in front end development, or a related field with 2+ years experience. (Less experience is okay if you can show amazing results from past work.)
  • Creative, innovative, and good sense of UX design.
  • Excellent skills in HTML, and CSS.
  • Proficient with Javascript and jQuery, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Experience developing custom wordpress themes needed.
  • Knowledge of php and databases a plus.
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
  • Disciplined and motivated as well as a team player.
  • The ability to handle criticism of your work.
  • Thirst for knowledge - constantly reading, studying and improving your skill set.

  • Dependent Care FSA (Flexible Spending Account). Contribute pre-tax dollars for child care or elderly care costs that insurance doesn't cover (deductibles, copays, prescriptions, etc). Starts the first day of the month after your hire date.
  • Commuter Benefit. We contribute $50 per month for mass transit and you are able to contribute more money on a pre-tax basis. Starts the first day of the month after your start date.
  • 97th Floor Library. We'll buy (almost) any book you want for our library.
